Welcome!  Here on my blog, you’ll find posts that feature images of artwork I am currently working on- sketches, scribbles, book binding, knitting, natural dyeing, reference photos, drawings, paintings, works-in-progress, experimentation, and anything in between.

You’ll also find some thoughts on herbal medicine and plant-spirit medicine.  And sometimes you’ll find posts about things that inspire me.

If that sounds good, I hope you’ll sign up to follow my blog!

I am an artist, mother, and natural healer living in Asheville, NC.

I have studied extensively with the Shanti school under Daisy Marquis in the crafts of energy healing, meditation, plant spirit medicine, flower essences, and herbalism.

I have painted with the Asheville Mural Project on several murals, most notably the “Lexington Gateway Mural” under I-240 at the end of Lexington Ave. in downtown Asheville (a collaborative mural with several other local artists).  I also completed an internship with the Philadelphia Mural Project.

I would like to say I love your blog and the wonderful and beautiful things you share as well as the inspiration and smiles you bring in doing so! Thank you for being you and I hope even if you do not accept awards you will accept the sentiment expressed as I honor you with one. There is no prize that comes with the award other than my appreciation and being grateful you are part of our world and making a difference by sharing in such a positive way…
I have posted the award and link to it here I hope you will accept it or at least the sentiment behind it! http://artisticlyxpressedthoughts.wordpress.com/2014/03/27/awards-and-shared-gifts/

    With love,

  2. I can see you have the artist’s spirit but you also have a true artist’s soul – lovely blog
