I recently got to have a little visit with some of my favorite flowers.
Ah, dear foam flower. Sorry the picture is so washed out- I only had my phone to take pictures with. You can see foam flower around the log and across the creek.
There was so much of it! I sat in meditation with foam flower and was given a beautiful vision of how she would like to be represented in a painting. I can’t wait to start on it!
And the first flower I really connected with on a spiritual level- dwarf crested iris. This photo doesn’t begin to capture the beautiful purples and blues of the dwarf crested iris carpet.
Makes me want to paint a dwarf crested iris portrait.

I can’t wait to see the paintings! We are not sure if our foam flower is going to come back or not this year. Still looking for it. 😦
uh oh! i would think the leaves would already be out at least. i didn’t plant mine last year- but it survived the winter in the pot! maybe the winter is too harsh there?
